Instructions

Navigation is simple. The start or "News" is always reached by clicking on the spur1info logo at the top left or by "Back" at the end of the article.

Tags (see Menu) will bring all articles, which are provided with the clicked keywords, into a preview. So you can also browse through older articles according to your favourite topics. At the top right is a free text search, which searches all articles for any keywords.

In the archive, all articles are stored chronologically by month. You can click on the months at the top of the page column if you have clicked on "Archive" and logged in again. The articles published between 2012 and October 2019 can also be viewed here for a few more years.

Many articles published from October 2014 onwards are only visible to subscribers. These premium articles are marked with a lock. They often contain up to 70 high-quality pictures and detailed reviews of locomotives and cars, trade fair reports, craft tips, layout presentations and more. You will see premium articles if you have registered here and transferred the subscription fee. After receipt of money your access will be activated.

If the user name or password is entered incorrectly three times, the user will be blocked for five minutes. You can request a new password. If you have persistent problems, please email, we will always find a solution.

Comments are welcome if they are factual. They will be activated after examination if they fit to the topic. We will not activate general criticism, massive attacks on manufacturers, readers and spur1info authors, insults and other comments that do not correspond to good morals and German laws. The activation is then omitted for reasons of press law and to ensure a polite discussion culture. There is no right to the publication of comments.

Due to time constraints, not all e-mails can be answered. Advice on manufacturers and digital problems as well as the evaluation of models from estates are not available. E-mails with pseudonyms and presumed false e-mail addresses will be deleted.
